I am not a morning person at all. If given the chance I will sleep in as long as I can. In the past year though, I’ve taken to getting up early to hit the gym. Here’s why:
1. Get it out of the way what’s going on at 5 am ? Fr the average 9ish to 5ish not a whole lo unless you want to catch up on your favorite infomercials. Hitting the gym early frees up your schedule for other fruitful activities.
2. It energizes you
Getting up and hitting the elliptical earlier gets your blood pumping and your adrenaline flowing. About Galway into a 30 minute session and you’ll start to wake up a bit. By the time you’re done you’ll be ready to conquer the work day.
3. it’s great for burning fat looking to lose weight? Hitting the treadmill before breakfast means you’re burning calories before you’ve consumed them. It also makes you hungrier so make sure you have time for a healthy protein packed breakfast.
Make sure you leave enough time to get to work. I know for me to be ready for my cubical duty I need to e out I the gym by 6am so I make sure I’m on my way to the gym by 4:55 .
